
Internet services are those services or applications available to a
client on the Internet. These services traditionally include: Telnet, e-mail
(including mailing lists), newsgroups, anonymous ftp (including Archie),
gopher (including Veronica), WAIS and the World Wide Web. The list can be
extended to include Multi-User Dungeon games (MUDS), Internet Relay Chat, and
various multimedia applications, including telephone and radio broadcasts.
